Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private?
Yes. HeartRoutine is offline-first. Analysis and reports all run on your machine. Email check-ins are optional and, even then, only your responses are stored on our server, encrypted in transit.
What can I track?
LDL, HDL, ApoB, Lp(a), triglycerides, blood pressure, weight, VO2 max, fasting glucose, HbA1c, and more. Set goals for any metric and track interventions (diet, exercise, supplements, medications) against them.
How do email check-ins work?
HeartRoutine sends you an email on your chosen schedule and you reply with how you did. For example, if you're tracking specific changes to your diet, we'll ask you at 8am "How did you eat yesterday?", and you can write back "cooked with olive oil, cut back on cheese, had oatmeal".
Is this a medical device?
No. HeartRoutine is an organizational tool. It helps you keep track of your health data and goals, but it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor.
